Fancy spending the summer at the Italian lakes?

It's been a busy, busy month.

Together with Mario, I've been finishing my book on starting a business in Italy, which goes on sale in September. It includes lots of interviews with expats who have all taken the plunge and set up their own businesses in the Bel Paese - and they are not all in Tuscany. They live throughout Italy, come from all walks of life and all offer totally different services.

For those of you that aren't yet at the stage of setting up your own business or are just after a summer job, there is an au-pair/nanny position on offer for a non-smoking native English speaker. But the one-month contract could lead to something more.

The person eventually taken on will be spending either July or August with an Italian family at the Lakes near Milan and will be looking after a five-year-old girl. She will have her own room.

Excellent references are a must. For more details, email Maurizio Morabito at maurizio@morabito.name.
